Commitment To Quality And Good Practice

The HRD Academy (HRDA) is committed to providing high quality certification programmes based on recognised standards of education, experience and ethical conduct for human resource professionals.

In support of its customers, the HRD Academy (HRDA) promotes the training profession by providing leadership, recognition and standards of excellence.

HRDA has developed the trainers competency model (TCM) to identify and assess core training competencies. TCM is based on a defined set of competencies derived from well researched international standards.Click here for details

The trainer’s certification process requires that applicants have to pass two assessments:

  • Knowledge assessment- a written examination consisting of 20 questions to assess the theoretical knowledge of the learning process, and
  • Performance assessment- using an assessment instrument consisting of 30 elements to measure the trainer performance.
