This workshop is designed to teach participants about quality tools needed to identify and analyse challenges within their organisation. Participants will become acquainted with a simple quality model - PDCA cycle - and then learn about tools to identify issues and to analyse problems.
The quality tools included are brainstorming, nominal group techniques, flow-charting, affinity diagrams, cause and effect diagrams, force field analysis, Pareto diagrams, scatter diagrams, Gantt charts, weighted voting. Participants will learn the definition for each tool, when to use it, how to use it, and specific guidelines and tips for applying these powerful, yet simple, quality tools.
