Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) is considered to be the ultimate leading edge discipline in developing and achieving maximum potential for personal and organizational interaction. It is used in management development, education, sport, health and counselling as well as strategic planning, and training.
NLP is the positive approach to specific and powerful change, taking people and organisations beyond previously perceived boundaries. Creating infinite possibilities, through the teaching of excellent communication skills, NLP facilitates personal and organisational growth and achievement of potential.
NLP has been developed over the past 25 years. Originating from a study to determine how it was that some people achieve excellence, whilst others, with seemingly identical resources are merely mediocre. The fundamental discovery was that it is possible to model the process of excellent communicators and performers and therefore, create a strategy for achieving excellence.
Successful communication is fundamental to any relationship, whether these be personal or business. Treating people appropriately is the ultimate recipe for success.
This discipline also helps individuals and organisations to pinpoint the difference that makes the difference, in terms of communications and behaviour. It has proved to be highly effective in helping both people and organisations to achieve their goals, by specifically defining the most appropriate outcome and then planning to make this achievable.
Outcome oriented organisations and individuals have a clear vision of where they are heading and how to get there. This is an expression of everyone involved, thus resulting in a high level of motivation and commitment to the future. They are also innovative and influential.
NLP also addresses the issues that form the climate in which we live, encouraging the appropriate handling of change with the development of new skills and the reinforcement of existing capabilities.
Utilising some of the skills above, NLP also gives us the necessary knowledge to teach people in a way that is the most useful for them rather than trying to make them conform to the usual way of teaching. This therefore allows pupils to be individual and to be valued as such rather than believing that they are a failure because they have difficulty in fitting into the educational system.
Flexibility is the mainstay of NLP training, offering each individual and organisation a tailor made approach to meet their requirements, and providing training solutions to meet all objectives.
